AFRICAN WOMEN IN SPACE: STARTING WITH GIRLS SPACE CAMP – CHIOMA NWADINMA, ENUGU STATE, NIGERIA

The Girls Space Science Camp will create an opportunity for young girls to learn about space exploration, climate, astronomy, and Earth's atmosphere. They will visit observatories and the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) Space Center where astronomers and climate scientists work to learn how scientists study the atmosphere and to see alternate energy development in action. The camp will last 3 days and present nationally aligned mathematics and science principles through fun, hands-on activities, teaching teams of campers to work together to complete missions.
