To date, female secondary school students have not taken up career opportunities in the ocean sciences in large numbers. This event will seek to address the issue by educating and exposing female students to numerous career possibilities, job prospects, and areas of specialization available both locally and internationally in the ocean sciences and provide them information on the necessary requirements to pursue those opportunities.
