This project will use sport language to discuss topics in Earth science to reach a large public audience in an innovative, unconventional way. Targeting sport fans active on social media, the project will create the hashtag #Geolympics and produce 5-7 articles that link events like the earthquake cycle or storms, to sports like football or sailing.
