This project will create a short scientific video that illustrates the physical impacts of deep bottom trawling on the seafloor. A collaboration between fishermen from the Catalan coast and the research group has found trawling gear that causes less impact on the seafloor and reduces fossil-fuel consumption. This video aims to inform and convince other fishermen from neighboring harbors to switch to these less-impacting trawling gear. The video will also highlight the ability to mitigate harmful activities through collaborative policy-making.
