AGU Icons in Oceanography
Roger Revelle, revered as a "dynamo of a scientist and administrator," made countless contributions to oceanography and our understanding of anthropogenic climate change. From sea chemistry, to ocean mixing Revelle's work advanced understanding of impacts of nuclear fall out, atmospheric-ocean interactions, and the capability of the ocean to absorb Carbon.
