CLIMATE CHANGED: MODELS AND THE BUILT WORLD – MARA FREILICH, MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

This project will create a public-facing academic forum where developers of climate models can engage with spatial designers, planners, artists and social scientists to explore new ways of thinking about models and design for a changed climate. Current models are abstract and uncertain. The project aims to create material that is broadly accessible and can be utilized to improve implementation of climate adaption. The discussions will be recorded and archived in a forthcoming book titled Climate Changed: Models and the Built World in the summer of 2020.
