World Oceans Day 2019

WorlD OCEANS DAY 2019

June 8 was officially designated by the United Nations as World Oceans Day  in December 2008 with its resolution 63/111.  It is a celebration to galvanize efforts to protect Earth's ocean, which drives global systems that make the planet habitable for humankind.   The focus of World Oceans Day 2019 is on "Gender & the Ocean."
