RESILIENT COAST SANTA CRUZ is a collaborative initiative led by the City of Santa Cruz to develop a vision, comprehensive information and recommendations for resilient coastal management and access. This project will help bring the critical information from the initiative to the community through adaptation of existing virtual reality technology. Users will be guided through the VR experience, learning about coastal issues and solutions to address sea level rise. The initial version of the project will operate out of the main Santa Cruz Public library branch and the team will collaborate on developing a creative and immersive library-based “VR Experience Station,” replicable at other library branches and events.
