The project will celebrate 150 years of Mendeleev’s periodic table and how those chemicals have influenced life throughout Earth history to the present day through an exhibit at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition in July 2019. In doing so, it will increase awareness of the cross-cutting themes between the earth sciences, chemistry and life sciences. This exhibit can then be used for future scientific outreach forums.
