PROMOTING STEM EDUCATION IN INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDPS) CAMPS – AHMED ISIAKA, BORNU STATE, NIGERIA

A recent report states that about 1.2 million school-age children have been displaced in northern Nigeria and a major challenge for them is gaining access to educational opportunities. This project will help bring STEM education to IDPs and build capacity for educators to plan and deliver STEM instruction with real world applications. Students will gain knowledge about STEM topics and careers while teachers will learn to design STEM curriculum and how to engage students in learning.
