Groundwater contamination resulting from anthropogenic sources has become a great challenge in Nigeria. The project proposes stimulating a conversation between scientists, policy makers and communities on the need to protect and manage groundwater resources, emphasizing drinking water source (groundwater) protection. The project will run four months and include a field experimental demonstration, workshops and a community awareness campaign involving television, radio, and social media. There are two planned workshops: one for scientists and policy makers and one to involve community representatives at the non-technical level.
