The National Association of Fisheries Students (NAFIS) is the student membership program of FISON and provides an opportunity for fisheries undergraduate and graduate students to network and interact with mentors during the FISON annual conference. In addition to facilitating networking among students and mentors, this program will raise the issue of climate change to these students at the annual meeting and increase their knowledge base on the impacts and potential mitigation and adaptation strategies related to climate change.
